Introducing the “Diamond Bond”

Of all the amazing materials on the earth, nothing competes with the diamond for hardness and durability. The secret lies in its atomic structure—which consists of carbon atoms that are linked together throughout the diamond. Our sealants work much the same way. When our sealants share a single electron with the oxygen atoms on the surface, the result looks much like the linking atomic structure of a diamond. Hundreds of millions of strong, extremely stable carbon atoms are linked together creating an absolutely clear, smooth, impenetrable hydrophobic (water repellant) barrier. This process is known as covalent bonding, or as we like to call it — the Diamond Bond.

Water Beading on Granite

Diamond Bond creates a water repellent barrier on stone and glass surfaces, so spills can simply be wiped away.

Untreated surfaces absorb. Treated surfaces wipe away.

As the photos below demonstrate, household surfaces become stained because water minerals and stain-causing contaminants enter microscopic pores on these surfaces, build up and become permanent. The only solution to prevent permanent stain damage is to ensure these microscopic pores are sealed. If contaminants penetrate these surfaces they can build up and dull the look of your precious surfaces. Once surfaces are treated by our patented sealants, contaminants merely sit on top of the surface and can be easily wiped away.

On this untreated tile, the blue dye sits atop the surface. Left untreated, this can cause permanent staining.

After treatment with Diamond Bond, the blue dye sits atop the surface of the tile and grout, allowing for easy clean up.

Before treatment with Diamond Bond, this granite bathroom countertop appears dull, grey and lifeless. The sink has seen brighter days, too.

Once treated with Diamond Bond, the granite countertop and sink take on renewed brilliance and shine. Both will also be easier to keeping looking like new.
